Philip Tulimieri
Associate Therapist
Before returning to graduate school, Philip received his bachelor’s degree in economics from McGill University in Montreal, Québec. He worked in the financial services industry for 20 years, which included managing hedge fund research teams and building investment portfolios for institutional clients.
Philip is passionate about building supportive and collaborative relationships where clients feel understood and empowered. He helps individuals promote lasting change by building on their strengths, developing practical coping skills, and gaining new perspectives on their experiences. This is achieved by using a flexible, client-centered approach, which integrates a range of therapeutic modalities, including dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and narrative therapy.
In his free time, Philip enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids, photography, scuba diving, and motorcycle riding.
Philip joined the BrightQuest team as a clinical intern in January 2025 and joined in a full-time clinical role in February 2026. He is currently under the supervision of Khamaria Wright, LMFT (TN #1721).
