Jennifer Agatte

Therapist MMFT

Jenny was born and raised in Northeastern Ohio, and moved to Nashville, TN the first time around after graduating with her dual Bachelor’s degrees in Music Performance (Voice) and Theatre Performance from LaGrange College in Georgia. While in Nashville, she performed in the theatre circuit for about 3 years before deciding to move to New York City to pursue her career as a performer at a national level. During her time in NYC, she worked in musical theatre, tv/film, and commercials, as well as an acting coach, which would prove to set a unique therapeutic foundation in somatic work for her future career path. In 2020, Jenny began her own healing journey of her adoption and was later inspired to pivot into a career to help support others post pandemic.

Jenny graduated with her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Lipscomb University where she served as Executive Vice President of Delta Kappa Marriage and Family Therapy Honor Society and held high clinical honors. Jenny works with individuals, couples, families, and groups, supporting them through periods of significant personal transition and emotional growth, offering a safe and compassionate environment where clients can navigate the nuanced and complex paths of their lives. She integrates evidenced based modalities of family systems, cognitive behavioral therapy, solutions focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and experiential therapy to create a client-centered approach while using a trauma informed lens in the therapeutic space; this flexible approach allows for deeper understanding of past patterns or traumas, cultural and relational influences, and aids in the development of building present-day habits that support growth towards a healthier, happier future self.

In her rare spare time, Jenny enjoys hanging out with her tripod Dachshund mix Pepper, playing trivia and darts with friends, traveling, and engaging in self-care by relaxing poolside in the Southern sunshine.

Jenny first joined the BrightQuest Nashville Clinical Team as a Clinical Intern during her graduate studies in May 2024 and became part of the clinical team in September 2025. Jenny is currently under the supervision of Khamaria Wright, LMFT (TN #1721).
