Sita Mukerji
Clinical Intern
Sita has been studying psychology for the past 15 years. She recently worked in the corporate world with a focus on Industrial Psychology and is now moving into working with individuals in a Clinical Psychology setting. She has experience as a coach, mentor, and leader, with decades of experience helping teams and individuals find a deeper level of motivation and purpose. Sita is passionate about helping individuals facilitate healing on many levels. Growing up with mindfulness-based practices that have supported her throughout life, she has incorporated these principles and teachings into her studies and work.
Sita holds a B.A. with concentrations in psychology, philosophy & theology from KU and the University of Saint Mary and an M.A. in Industrial Psychology from the University of the Rockies. She is currently pursuing her M.A. in Mindfulness-Based Clinical Psychology from Naropa University and will be working on licensure to become an LPC. Sita is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor Trainee, supervised by Rachel Eldred-Gordon, LMFT (CA #48894).
Sita moved to San Diego from Kansas City 6 years ago and has fallen in love with her community. She and her husband have two daughters and a very energetic Aussiedoodle. In her spare time, she loves practicing Yoga & Ballet, playing board games & cards, and appreciates a good cup of coffee.
