Nicolette takes a holistic and human first approach to her work as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. She is passionate about helping people cultivate a meaningful life as well as uncover the strength within themselves. Nicolette enjoys using narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness skills, and more to help individuals process life experiences. Nicolette received her Master’s degree from University of San Diego’s Marital and Family Therapy Program. While being there, Nicolette practiced trauma informed care and learned many theories she utilizes in her work such as Bowen, Internal Family Systems, and more. Nicolette believes in the powers that group therapy has and enjoys being in process group spaces. Nicolette is a pending Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, supervised by Rachel Eldred-Gordon, LMFT (CA #48894).
Nicolette was born and raised in Northern California. She moved to San Diego for college and her heart had never felt more at home! Nicolette received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and her Minor in Counseling and Social Change at San Diego State University. During her time in undergraduate, Nicolette volunteered for a crisis line helping individuals going through extreme distress, and was an in-home ABA therapist for children ages 4-18. In her free time, Nicolette enjoys doing yoga, listening to music, going to the beach, photography, and reading!
