Associate Therapist

Lauren brings a compassionate, whole-person approach to her work as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor. She is passionate about supporting clients in finding meaning and joy as she comes alongside in their journey. Lauren obtained a Master’s degree from Naropa University in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling, where an emphasis on relational, trauma-informed care helped shape her approach as a therapist. She has worn several hats in the BrightQuest staff milieu and shares the value of “Community as Healer” with the Therapeutic Community model of care. Lauren is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (CA #19899) supervised by Rachel Eldred-Gordon, LMFT (CA #48894)

Lauren was born and raised in Northern Colorado and has since called Arizona, New York and California home. She attended Arizona State University for her BA in Journalism & Mass Communications before working in the music industry in New York City and Los Angeles. Since pivoting to a career in mental health she has worked in both traditional and holistic care settings. In her spare time Lauren enjoys reading, gardening, music, movies and adventures with her husband and pug.
