Becca Ekberg, MT-BC
Music Therapist
Becca Ekberg fell naturally into the music therapy profession as a result of being a lifetime music lover. Becca was involved in every musical activity she could find throughout her elementary and adolescent years. These musical activities fostered a love for music but also a love for the connection and healing that music can provide.
Becca received her music therapy education at Belmont University and graduated in December of 2023. During her education, Becca completed a 6 month clinical internship at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Following this internship, Becca worked in an acute psychiatric hospital for a year and a half where she worked with adolescents, adults, and older adults.
Through all of Becca’s work in music therapy, she has developed an appreciation for her field and the ways that music can support and inspire healing, transformation, awareness, and expression. Becca holds gratitude and excitement to bring music to the mission of BrightQuest to support the healing and growth of those she encounters.
